Steam bath with herbs The temperature is about 47 degrees C. Stay inside about 10 to 15 minutes. As no towel can be used in the steam bath, use the installed hose to wash your seat before occupying it, and then the activation of your metabolism can start in the Kneipp fashion.
Aroma cubicle (* extra fee) Enjoy 4 different fragrances of your choice (lemon-orange, eucalyptus, dwarf pine and juniper) in order to support your respiratory tract. The aromas are favourable for your hair, skin and the respiratory tract.
Finnish sauna with "vitarium" Naturally, the Finnish sauna with colour therapy must not be missing. You should stay inside 10 to 15 minutes for proper sweating. The temperature is about 90 degrees C and, contrary to the "tepidarium", puts more strain on the metabolism. Please use a towel on your seat for hygienic reasons. Afterwards, a rest of between 15 and 30 minutes is advisable. Depending on the physical condition, a second and third sauna session may be undertaken. After the sauna, our adventure showers (cold) will bring the welcome cooling effect: fog shower, torrent showers and the fresh-air grotto.
Fresh water whirlpools (*extra fee) have been designed complying to the highest hygienic standards. The water is changed automatically after every usage. The temperature is 38 degrees C, thus no germs can accumulate.
The "caldarium" is a sort of soft sauna with integrated radiation heating. By a constant emission of thermal energy from the walls and the sauna stove (for herbal pourings-on), a temperature of about 60 degrees C is achieved. Thus a stimulation of the metabolism results, which activates the immune system. The proposed staying period is 20 minutes. Please also use a towel on your seat for hygienic reasons.
The "tepidarium" has a radiation temperature of about 42 degrees C. After 15 minutes, the body has heated up sufficiently to allow detoxification by intensive sweating. This form of sweating is especially advisable for those persons who feel a strain in the normal sauna. After every stay in one of our saunas, we recommend to use our "fresh air grotto" for sufficient oxygen intake.
Lakonium/infrared cabin with Xlomara infrared radiators: It is known that the Romans have developed special forms of baths 2000 years ago. Wherever they lived, they built baths or spas. Baths of a great variety - not just for cleansing and hygiene, but in the first place for pleasure and relaxation - were built. One of these baths was the Lakonium. The building consisted of a mostly round room, covered with marble or wood, with a cupola as roof. The Lakonium of the 21st century also uses the healing effect of infrared radiation. Instead of the container with live coals, several electric infrared radiators are built into the walls of the room. When the user sits down on the seat by the radiators, the infrared radiator is activated by a pressing a button.
