Photovoltaics: Solar Energy for Dilly Resort
The PV system has an output of 600 kWp. In 2025, it generated 600,000 kWh of electricity, covering around 24% of our total electricity demand.
The existing photovoltaic system alone saves around 190 tonnes of CO₂ per year (2025).
This is equivalent to:
around 10,000 newly planted trees per year
approximately 9 hectares of forest
a significant reduction in our ecological footprint
Expansion of the photovoltaic system in 2027
An expansion of the PV system by 250 kWp is planned for 2027.
Forecast: The new system will generate an additional 200,000 kWh of electricity per year and cover a further 12% of our electricity demand.
This will result in additional annual CO₂ savings of around 76 tonnes.
